ITerating 2.0
We just refreshed the ITerating web site last night - we call it ITerating 2.0 - something that has been months in the works. It's almost a complete rewrite of *everything* - we reimplemented the server-side using Struts and Spring, we redid the client-side so it doesn't depend on javascript as much, and we have a new design.
Seeing it online, actually working for real, is pretty satisfying, which comes as a bit of a surprise, after all the frustration that went into making it. :) The end product is, in my humble opinion, not bad at all. But one thing is for sure, I'll be keeping away from Struts - and other Java language frameworks - for a long time. That's why, for me personally, it means the end of my work at ITerating - something I decided a while ago. It's been two years of fun, learning, and great company, with a fair share of frustrations to balance the mix - a good experience, all in all.
Now, let's see what we can do about a little post-launch party...
