New Car
So I'm finally getting that car I was talking about. I'm on a budget so it's not going to be a Toyota or Peugeot. On Monday I've placed the order for a Fiat Grande Punto, it should be mine in one or two weeks.
I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, I would have preferred a Toyota, they seem to make solid, reliable, well-thought-out cars. The Peugeot 207 also caught my eye, it looks great on the inside and outside and felt good on the test-drive. On the other hand, this little Fiat (well, it's not that little) isn't bad at all: surprisingly good value for such a small price.
I'm in a social program which helps people buy a new car if they take the old one to the scrap yard. I'm certainly not looking forward to this – the old car has been in the family like forever, and I've grown attached to it. But anyway, things are not people; getting attached to things is a bad idea. :)

Sometimes one cannot help attaching to things - they are part of their life for a long time...and some of them even seem to have their own personality :P But, as we always meet new people in our life, and some of the old friends seem to dissapear into thin air... please promise you'll write about your first ride in the new car :)
The trouble with things is that they don't react. You decide what to do with them. People at least know what's good for them.
Anyway, I'll definitely write about the new car. :)
