Ski day

I took Tuesday off to go skiing in Sinaia. The weather was OK, the chairlift prices were good (they finally introduced the "day pass" concept, wow), there was adequate snow, and not many people to crowd the slope. Herewith some pictures.

I've been avoiding posting photos here because it's a boring manual process to scale and thumbnail and link and upload them. I'm hoping to automate the process with some Melody magic, but more on that when it happens.

In the morning the sky was overcast; this was a rare patch of blue.
These guys weren't perticularly fast, but I didn't catch the true speed demons on camera.
A weather station (I think) and a radio relay. The buildings are kind of run down, but I think they're nice.
The main slope follows the chairlift; this picture is taken from one of the alternative runs.
Five kids from a local school; the guy in the middle is their teacher, who also takes them skiing sometimes. Lucky little bastards.
The sun sets quickly in the valley. I took this picture just before I left.

Nice pics dude. The last one is really cool, I think you should post more often. :)
